Forever might be short,
For a life worth living,
While a purpose we court
Time is not so forgiving.
Forever might be overrated,
In love and in life,
While many are fated,
For togetherness, in rife.
Forever is double edged,
in comfort and complacency,
In between them wedged,
Is the heart in vagrancy.
