Delicious delightful diversion

A burst of cold misty spray,
Made the little one's day,
A slurpy lick of ice cream,
Made him, with joy, scream.

A ride in the carousel,
His fear did slowly unravel,
Sight of a flock of birds,
Brought forth string of words.

Penguins, peacock and hawk,
Sweetened the little one's gawk.
Bison, leopard and a big bear,
Cougar and panda in the fare.

Pheasants, silver and golden,
His gait now did embolden,
A sip of water before a content nap,
The day was a feather in his cap.
