No matter how ready for winter, we are never ready for winter...Well done.
I got a chill reading it... LOL
A chilly verse nicely written. I'm feeling it, too.
Brrrr! Old Man Winter's boot to the face! Nice one.
I can so relate to your words...you captured that feeling perfectly!
Funny, but we're expecting snow tonight/tomorrow and I am just not ready for it. You made me shiver in my nice, warm loft!
Now thats winter so well described. Nice one
mmm. this is how I'm going to feel Friday.it's being said it's suppose to snow.i live in HOUSTON!it just doesn't snow here.but I love the cold!
it may be cold but once you are "sumptuously dressed in layers" it is that snug, delicious, warmth that negates the cold. Good job getting the senses responding in so few words.
Good one, i could see the winter creeping up too.Dressed in layers...sounded warm and felt protected.
Love the way you used the words!
BRAVO and I think we must be neighbors!
Yeah, I think Illyria has it right, sounds like home to me.
I felt this in the morning as I left the house - and then again now as I read your post! Well done.
