Quaking and Quivering

A big jolt of nature
Toppling life enmasse
Buildings crumble to dust
A faint ribbon of life
Hangs by barely
Zealous human nature
Continues to thrive
Bounce back, one hopes
Every single being will
With empathies in large
And with heavy hearts,
People all over pray
In their minds, are
Sad thoughts of them all!

  1. For whatever reason, every time you try and comment, it sends up to spam. Sorry.

The quake has been a topic for many a writer and you've captured the heartache.

  2. Wonderful words though I feel this is something beyond prayer at least for me

  3. Sad occasion, but we do need to be reminded of these things, constantly.
