Started off with 'a poem a day' for NaPoWriMo 08, now onward to further endeavors!
I know how you feel. Where I am we're experiencing the worst winter weather for 30 years.
I know its SO cold!! great post and so relevant to the times!
With 6 inches of new snow on the ground, added to the 20 we got last week, and temps plunging into the -20 range, I feel you. Yes, I certainly do.
Sometimes gets as low as 20 here, overnight - but I'm talking 20C...
Winter!!Brr!!Lovely one here
can't relate to the snow-talk... though i enjoyed reading your lovely lines.
You must be someplace VERY cold. Here in Bakersfield we just feel like we are cold but I am sure yours is much more epic. LOL.http://juliejordanscott.typepad.com/jjspoetry/2010/01/a-mistake-my-first-ever-three-word-wednesday-poem.html
I thought when I moved South I was leaving winter. Never felt so cold....You totally captured it
The good part about unbearable cold is that it served you well as an inspiration. Well done!
At least the dead cold of winter is useful for something. ;) Great piece.
No snow here but 18 degrees. Texans are not used to this!!
amazing how winter can affect one's thoughts...
