Frame of mind

Scary thoughts cradled in my heart,
With reality - can’t tell them apart,
Just as life begins to seem perfect,
Gnawing uncertainties begin to affect,
Its share of sorrows, life snares,
Anger and disappointment then flares,
Scary thoughts cradled in my heart,
With reality - can’t tell them apart!
