Surpassed

A perfect diamond ring,
Moon cradling the Sun
Slowly and gently to be let go
From its phenomenal snare,
A morn swathed in darkness,
Dawned not once, but twice,
Swarms of people awaiting,
A historical spectacle divine!

  2. This would have been great to witness in person, but you've fond the words to describe it.

  12. Ah the lunar Eclipse. Wish we could have seen it here in the U.S.
    great description.
I would have loved to have seen it rise in India. what a spectical seeing a hole rise instead of the moon.
